Final Evaluation
Overall, I am pleased with my final photos; they have clear links to Circles and Curves; in shoot 1 they had the links through the shadows and the curvature of the paper ( as the curvature of the paper made it possible for the shadows to also be curved ), which in turn created highly abstract work, which was the intention as my Photographers that I researched ( being Man Ray, Edward Henry Weston and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy ) where specifically made their work abstract, due to their methodology, that of Man Ray and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, of making photograms. Shoot 2 had links to Circles and Curves as as the liquid had a high concentration of bubbles in it, linking it to circles, but also has the rim and the base of the glass is circular, had further links to curves, this also linked to my Photographer, that being Josef Sudek, as he used common items as the subjects of his photos, which I also did with the glass of water, but also using his style of black and white still- life photography. The photos them selves turned out quite well, as they were clear photos, however there were issues relating to composition; especially in the second shoot; as they commonly had too much background and negative space, which can mostly be dealt with in Photoshop, but could be dealt with in the shoot by using a tripod and carefully measuring what I'm taking.
